Podcasting Headaches

I recently decided to start streaming our sermons through Itunes. It sounded like a great idea. How hard could it be? Lot's of churches are posting their sermons on the popular media program so I figured we would get in on it as well. That was my first mistake.

Did you know that Itunes does not actually host your media files? I think I spent nearly six hours working on things like generating a feed, linking files, testing the feed, etc. It was an educational experience!

I am very excited about the option of podcasting our sermons. It lends a little bit of professionalism to our online presence, and allows us to have a broader reach, since our sermons may come up while someone is searching for sermons by another preacher!
